My Story
After graduating with a Degree in Art, Donna received a scholarship to study in Ravenna, the home of mosaics. She started Donna Reeves Mosaics in 1996, designing and installing mosaics for interior designers, public bodies and private clients in the UK, Far East and US. Highlights include commissioned mosaic work for Sir Terence Conran's restaurants, George & Olivia Harrison’s private office, & Channel 4’s award-winning Indian Summer Season. She has written several books on mosaics, featured in a variety of interior design publications & appeared in a number of home improvement shows on TV.
In September 2023 Donna opened “& by Donna Reeves”, a unique working artists’ studio and retail space in Ware, Hertfordshire, specialising in sourcing and selling art, fashion & items for the home. Curated and handpicked by Donna, “& by Donna Reeves” brings together select local artists as well as creators and designers from across from across the UK and Europe, all on sale alongside her own handmade ceramics and mosaics.
As a trained Primary and Secondary School teacher, Donna will continue to host and run her hugely popular Art workshops for all ages and abilities, featuring ceramics, mosaics, painting, drawing and many other art forms.

& by Donna Reeves is the realisation of Donna’s dream. After years as an artist, followed by extensive teaching experience, a background in fashion PR, set design & art directing, all her diverse skills and passions have come together in this unique space.
The shop offers a carefully curated selection of unique artworks, handcrafted items, and original designs you won’t find anywhere else. It provides local and emerging artists and designers a platform to showcase and sell their work, supporting creative talent in the community.
Inclusive workshops and creative sessions welcome all ages and abilities, promoting well - being and fostering connection through hands - on art experiences. Donna believes creativity uplifts and heals, making this hub a welcoming space for everyone.

Donna named her shop “& by Donna Reeves” because every idea she had began with “and” - make art and sell it, have fashion and host workshops, collaborate and create. “&” became the perfect symbol of her vision: always more to come!
