Join mosaic artist Donna Reeves, in this brand new and exciting beginners mosaic course.

You will be expertly lead by Donna and shown all there is to know about the art of mosaics, using the highest quality Italian glass and porcelain tiles. Donna has a degree in art, with a focus on mosaics and spent time learning the art of mosaics in Ravenna, Italy, coupled with her teaching degree and years of teaching experience, you will be looked after. All materials and tools will be provided, along with refreshments. Please bring along your own lunch. It is a day event running from 11am and finishing around 4pm. This is suitable for beginners and ages 12+ and you do not need an artistic background, but a willing to learn something new! Nature and Landscape Journalling in Mixed Media 

For Nature and Landscape Journalling in Mixed Media we’ll create expressive sketchbook pages inspired by the natural world - trees, hedgerows, flowers, plants and the small details you notice on a walk.

We’ll begin with loose warm ups playing with various mediums, exploring playful marks, colour, and texture to build foundations. From there, we’ll look at how to simplify what you see into clear shapes and strong values - so they stay loose but impactful. We’ll also look at layout and composition, and use quick thumbnail sketches to plan your pages.

Then we’ll start layering - combining pens, coloured pencil, and mixed media to build depth and atmosphere. You’ll leave with a set of nature-inspired journal pages that feel personal, textured, and full of movement. This workshop is about slowing down, experimenting, and enjoying the process together. There’s no pressure to make a ‘finished’ piece. We’re working in a journalling mindset - curious and open to happy accidents. This approach will give you space to play and interpret nature in your own way.

If you are a beginner, you will pick Donna to teach you how to cut mosaics. You can then pick your own template from a variety of designs that Donna has created and they are priced at different price points. Then you will have free reign to pick your own mosaics from a wide range of materials. Start a new creative obsession today…

New templates will be available, but booking is advised if you like a particular design.

(I know that the painting ladies wanted to do this workshop, so if they can't make the above date, I have checked in the calendar and I'm free on Sat 11th April, or any Thursday in April and can do earlier time to suit them like 5-7).

• Week 1: Introduction to Alcohol Inks - Discover ink brands, colour blending, materials and essential techniques including two professional blowing methods.

• Week 2: Wispy Effect Techniques - Master ethereal, flowing patterns with controlled ink movement to create dreamy abstract artwork.

• Week 3: Landscape Creation - Develop brush control and blowing techniques to create depth, texture and stunning natural formations.

• Week 4: Floral Artistry - Complete your journey by creating vibrant, expressive botanical art, combining all previous skills.

A beautiful evening of relaxation and connection to your feminine energy and nature and its cycles. Come be held, nurtured and restored.

Creative Children come to the Kids Klub, which will be every other Wednesday. Hosted by Art teacher and artist Donna. We will experiment with a range of different mediums and have fun making fantastic artworks to take home. Materials included in the price. Come dressed to make a mess!! Although, aprons will be provided.

These sessions run every other Wednesday from 4-5pm during term time only

Donna is a trained teacher and can guide you through your GCSE and A’ Level Art requirements. Bring along your own work and Donna will be there to assist and give you support. You can use Donna’s materials and tools. If you are not studying GCSE or A’ Level but still want to come along, Donna can discuss projects for you to complete with step by step instructions. Your teen/ young adult will be with like minded creative students and this is a great way to meet new friends and skill share.
