Important: Due to the nature of alcohol inks, this workshop is not suitable for pregnant women or those with respiratory conditions. Our studio is well-ventilated, and full safety guidance will be provided. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting colourful but aprons are provided!

In this session you will be able to decorate x3 flat acrylic decorations with mesmerising fluid abstract art.

The workshop will begin with an introduction to alcohol inks where you will be able to play with colours and plan and practice your designs.

This is perfect for all levels!

Complete your design with a shimmering metallic ink onto of your colours and onto the edges, then finish off with ribbons.

Creative Children come to the new Kids Klub, which will be every other Wednesday. Hosted by Art teacher and artist Donna. We will experiment with a range of different mediums and have fun making fantastic artworks to take home. Materials included in the price. Come dressed to make a mess!! Create your own web of colour in this fun ink art class with a halloween twist.

Design your spider web with masking fluid then add your chosen coloured ink. Watch as the colours dry then peel away the ‘spider web’ to reveal your own unique spider web artwork!

Week 3 Thursday 30th October: Pen and ink

Choose your colours, mix and pour onto a mini ceramic pumpkin decoration. A fun Halloween arts and crafts session for the October half term.

Each session is a new activity using different drawing mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pen and ink etc

You will be guided through the different drawing techniques by trained artist and teacher Donna.

Join us for a two hour mixed media workshop where we’ll transform abstract backgrounds into playful landscapes. We’ll start with warm up exercises practising random strokes in gouache and acrylics. The focus will be on colour, texture, and expressive marks and form. We’ll build up the landscapes by adding pen, coloured pencil and other media letting the background shapes and colours guide our compositions. This layered approach encourages spontaneity with vibrant results that balances painterly freedom with details. ALL materials are provided.

Artist in the Window began as one of Donna’s creative ideas to showcase her artists and their talents while bringing art directly into the public domain. The concept transforms the shop front into a live studio, inviting the community to observe the artistic process in real time. Beginning in the morning, an artist sets up in the window and works throughout the day, crafting a unique piece from scratch. By the time the shop closes at 5pm, the artwork is complete. Passers by can witness creativity unfold hour by hour. Turning the everyday street into an open gallery experience.

Ohn Mar Win will be creating beautiful watercolour paintings, so pop along and see her working progress.

Pop along to meet Jade who will be showcasing her artwork- alcohol ink & her upcycled furniture. She will be giving a live demo and talking about her work.

Somatic Yoga – floor based

Join Jade and Donna in this fun joint workshop! Last year’s halloween craft party was a huge hit, so we’re bringing it back but this a little different! 

Have fun painting your autumnal and halloween designs onto candles and wineglass with the ever popular ‘bloody fruity mocktail’ and frozen ice fingers taking centre stage. Spooky snacks will also be provided!

This is a fun night to let out your inner witch and get crafty. Dressing up encouraged! You’re welcome to bring your own tipple of choice too!
