Create semi abstract landscapes with texture and expression. We’ll begin with warm-up exercises in gouache and acrylics, practising random strokes to explore colour, texture, and expressive marks. From there we'll transform those abstract backgrounds into playful landscapes, layering with pen, coloured pencil and other media. The shapes and colours you start with will guide the compositions and encourage spontaneity while still allowing space for detail. 

It's a chance to let go, experiment, and enjoy the vibrancy that comes from layering and mark-making.
