Donna is a trained teacher and has worked with mosaics for 30 years. She has visited schools and transformed their designs into artworks. Donna teaches the children how to make a mosaic, step by step. Each piece carries a personalised touch - adding character, creativity, and a shared sense of pride to the community while representing the spirit of each school.

Primary Schools in Islington, 2006 - 7
In Islington, 10 different primary schools formed an effective netwrok to focus on pupil learning, as well as new opportunities for adult learning. This projects objective was to enrich children’s learning of Maths & Art through mosaics.
Donna & Sally Kendall worked hard together to create 60 unique, handcrafted mosaic tiles, all designed & made by Year 5&6 pupils of the 10 primary schools.
The most able children from the network of schools then came together to collaborate in the creation of a further 10 tiles.
